Robert Potorski, MD, FACC, brings over 30 years of medical experience to South Shore Cardiovascular Associates, providing patient-centered cardiovascular care in Brandon, Riverview, and Tampa, Florida. Fellowship-trained in cardiology, Dr. Potorski is equipped to handle the broad scope of cardiovascular conditions and abnormalities.
Dr. Potorski attended Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor of science in biology. He then went on to attend Universidad Central del Este in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic. After completing his medical education, Dr. Potorski attended an internal medicine residency at Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, and he went on to serve as chief resident there. After completing his residency, Dr. Potorski attended fellowship training in cardiology at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey.
At South Shore Cardiovascular Associates, Dr. Potorski provides personalized care to each of his patients. As a cardiovascular specialist, Dr. Potorski uses the latest cardiac interventions to address a number of cardiac conditions and concerns including high blood pressure and atrial fibrillation.
Outside the office, Dr. Potorski continues his commitment to the field of cardiology. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the American College of Physicians, and a member and fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
