Dr. Singh earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Neurosciences from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He then earned a Master of Science in Basic Medical Sciences from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, before earning his medical degree from the same institution in 2013. It was at Wayne State University that Dr. Singh also completed his residency. He then completed his fellowship and cardiovascular medicine at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan, where he subsequently became Chief Fellow. He is currently completing an interventional cardiology fellowship at Providence Hospital.

He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He is certified by the National Board of Echocardiography, as well as the Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and the Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is a registered physician in vascular interpretation.

Following his training, Dr. Singh worked in a variety of health care settings as a residency, fellow, research assistant, and co-investigator. He has contributed to numerous publications on cardiology, and has participated in several presentations, including the American College of Cardiology National Meeting.

He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, American Medical Student Association, Amigos Medicos, and Internal Medicine Interest Group.
