Dr. Roy attended medical school at Sir Salimullah Medical College in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In addition to his doctor of medicine, he also earned a master's degree in international public health from the University of Sydney in Sydney, Australia. After completing his medical education, Dr. Roy received fellowship training in cardiology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Using the latest cardiac interventions and individualized treatment plans, Dr. Roy is able to strive for optimal outcomes in each case. He has experience diagnosing and treating a number of cardiovascular conditions including heart disease, arrhythmia, heart block, and hypertension. Dr. Roy brings a compassionate approach to patient care, taking the time to educate each patient on their condition, risks, and treatment options.
Outside the office, Dr. Roy remains active in the medical field. He is a current member of the American College of Physicians as well as the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Roy is also an avid author, with a number of medical journals published by Johns Hopkins University.
